Building wires

Building wires and flexible cables, with the nominal voltage of up to 750 V, as single-wire or multi-wire lines cables, are used for laying solid in construction, while performing electrical installations in various buildings.

In building wires the conductor is copper (Cu) in the form of a single-wire – solid conductor or a multi-wire – flexible copper conductor. As the insulating material, PVC is used most often due to its good mechanical properties, for the cables for which a higher temperature load is required, XLPE is used, while for the cables with special properties in case of fire, low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) compounds are used, which have a low emission of smoke, with non-toxic and non-corrosive gases generated during combustion.
